Bio & Testimony

Daniel would have said that he was a Christian from a very young age, growing up in a Christian home and regularly attending church, but he truly started walking with Jesus after he suffered a shoulder injury that cut his college football career at Clemson short. This injury took him to a very low place where he realized that the Gospel and the truths of Scripture hadn't changed his life and actions like others he saw around him. This impactful moment, coupled with men that spoke into his life from NewSpring Church, and eventually the discipleship of Clemson campus staff Landon Tucker, led Daniel to realize that he could be saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, and that he had held a misunderstanding of the Gospel. Under the continued discipleship of Landon and his involvement with Campus Outreach throughout the rest of his time at Clemson, Daniel grew a heart for the lost that were around him. Through his time on staff, Daniel hopes that the Lord will allow him to see many young men graduated into a lifetime of following Jesus and sharing Him with others, and he particularly desires to pursue chaplain and mentorship opportunities within the football team at the school where he is placed.
