Bio & Testimony

Aaron came to know God during his freshman year at Western Carolina University. He was invited to a bible study by some CO staff members, and they began to share God’s word with him in a way that he had never experienced before. By reading and understanding God’s word as well as the CO staff pouring into him and bringing him into a Christ-centered community, Aaron was able to know and accept God’s love for him through Jesus Christ.

Braelyn came to have a personal relationship with Jesus after her junior year of college. Though she grew up in a Christian household, she had rejected the faith she grew up in when she made it to university. By God's sovereignty, her initial college career at Wingate moved to UNC Charlotte during Covid, where a CO staff befriended Braelyn and discipled her into the faith. Over the course of Braelyn's junior year, with the recipe of regular meetings in the Bible with Abby, seeing glimpses of true Christian community, and her sins overpromising and under-delivering, Braelyn gave up control of her own life and repented for the first time in May 2021. After spending several years serving in the same college ministry she came to faith in, she is excited to get to further the Gospel through discipleship and resourcing the campus staff in a new context in Columbia, SC.
